Flames of Nebraska softball players.

One of our Flames 10/12’s team mates Addie Marie Dycus from Hastings is undergoing brain surgery to remove a tumor on Thursday Oct. 14 at Childrens Hostpital in Omaha. This Sunday at practice I will bring a ball and a poster board that if anyone wants to make her a sign and we can sign it, and maybe put some team picture of each team on it. I need a team picture from the 10’s, 12’s and 14’s last year, if you can email it or bring it Sunday. If you have anything else you would like to get to her bring it Sunday and I will see that it gets to her. Polly, Jess W. and I will try to see her when we are in Omaha on Thursday and Friday.

Addie Marie has a web site that she would like all her friends and family to visit to keep posted on her recovery.  Please pass her web page on to others.  www.caringbridge.org/ne/addiemarie.  This page has just been created so look for more to be posted.   Again, Thank you for all your prayers for Addie.

On November 14, 2004 from 11-7 there will be a benefit at the Adams County Fairgrounds in the North building. If you would like to donate your time you may call Kelly Nikkila at (402)461-4294 or Shelli Rossen at (402)463-1341-Hogan's Sporting Goods.

Flames we may have our all team annual Parent/Player meeting this day in Hastings so we could cover both the benefit and our meeting in the same trip. If any knows were we could hold a meeting that has access to the internet and a project to show on the screen that maybe we could use for the meeting, let me know.
