Camp
It
is for all ages, boys and girls included
Players need to bring
their glove, shoes, bat, and other equipment they may want. Catchers bring
catching gear.
The
applications must be accompanied by the fee payable to 123 SPORTS with the completed
application form with parental signature by 1 week prior to the camp.

The camp size can be limited, so please send registrations
in early.
The camp staff
will include former Hastings College Head Coach, current Flames Head Coach and
manager Rick Buerer as well as former and current Flames coaches. Other camp
staff includes current Flames players and former players who now play college
softball. This past season alone the 16, and both 18 U teams were all rated in
USSSA national rankings. The 18&U qualified for ASA regional tournaments
for their 9th year in a row. The 18’s also received a 10th in 2000 and 6th in 2002 and placed 9th
nationally in 2002 and 10th in 2001. Their national ranking in
USSSA was 2003 13th, 2004 20th, and 2005 4th. Three Flames teams were all rated No. 1 at
the same time in 2005 along with placing 5th in 2002 AFA Nationals. In 2006 the Flames have qualified for USSSA
World Tournament for the 7th year in a row. The16’s team is rated
1st in USSSA in the nation.

Rick Buerer has coached
girls fast pitch, boys legion baseball, men’s, and women’s Fastpitch teams
since 1977. Buerer played college baseball and Men’s Fastpitch until retiring
in 1999. He has coached many teams beyond state to regional and national
tournaments.
The players who help with the clinic will
make it well worth the time to come and learn basic fundamentals as well as
more advanced offense and defense.
All Skills Camp
The all skills camp
is designed to give players an opportunity to gain important skill information
pertaining to their position. They will
work of hitting, defensive play, including fundamentals of throwing and catching,
middle infield, corner infield, and outfield play.
APPLICATIONS must
be accompanied by a camp fee to 123
SPORTS and a completed registration form with parental signature, by 1
week prior to the camp. The camp size can be limited, so please send in your
registration early. Providing we still have room we will accept walk-ins. Call or email ahead plus add $10.
Participants will need to bring their glove,
shoes and other equipment they may need such as catchers equipment, or bat if
you so desire.
